I do love an Autumn wedding!
When I met Michelle for her Pre-wedding hair trial I knew straight away that the actual wedding morning was going to run smoothly and be amazing. She was so organised and knew exactly what she wanted and was open to suggestions. I briefly knew Michelle as one of the mum’s from my Son’s School so I was really flattered that she had booked me to do her wedding hair.
It was an early start but from the moment I arrived at the De Vere Staverton Hotel in Daventry, Northamptonshire, Michelle was calm and collected and along with her Daughter she super excited for the day ahead.
Throughout the morning I assisted Michelle’s three bridesmaids with their hairstyles and at 11am we headed over to the wedding venue, Dodford Manor to finish dressing out Michelle’s bridal hairstyle.
This is where the real excitement began and the thought of ‘I’m really getting married’ became real and the little shy princess (Michelle's youngest Daughter) came alive; I mean, we all love a tiara right!
I just love creating wedding hair at Dodford Manor... It’s a stunning wedding venue located on the outskirts of Northampton, surrounded by beautiful countryside - perfect for rustic wedding themes.
...and you can’t beat that priceless moment when the brides Dad sees her in her wedding gown for the first time..!
This was the second time I have worked with Simon and Karla at SkyPhotography, a husband and wife partnership also based in Northamptonshire. They have captured some very special memories for John and Michelle and I thank them for letting me use these images.
