Bridal Styles for Short Hair

Things to consider when you are choosing your hairstyle:

  • Length of hair

  • Quality and quantaty of hair

  • Face shape

  • Style of dress

  • The Venue (indoors or outdoors)

  • The height of your Groom or Bride - a big factor to consider if you are thinking of choosing a tall hairstyle.

  • Ever thought about wearing hair extensions?

The main factor is that you want to look like you, but just that little bit extra special!

So whether you have a sharp bob, graduation or a pixie cut a blow dry might be the best option for you.

Alternatively you could opt for Hollywood waves, beachy curls or funky braids with twists.

Keeping your hair in good tiptop condition throughout the run up to your wedding is essential.  Always use heat protectors when using tongs or irons and regular visits to your hairdresser for a trim to keep those ends from drying out and splitting.

Bridal Styles for Long Hair

  • The Venue (indoors or outdoors)

  • The height of your Groom or Bride- a big factor to consider if you are thinking of choosing a tall hairstyle.

  • Ever thought about wearing hair extensions?

Options of vintage, half up / half down, rustic & romantic, high chignon, low chignon, neat or messy the possibilities are endless.

Braids and Twists:

How about adding a plait to enhance and add texture to a soft Boho style or incorporating a fishtail braid into a mermaid braided style?  whether you choose a Dutch, French, Waterfall or twisted braids they all look beautiful!  Braids can also add texture to hair that has been highlighted or that has several tones going through it...

By adding a few extra colours / tones will change your entire look.

Have you considered clip-in hair extensions?

This is a great way of enhancing your hair colour without the chemical damage!

Working with hair extensions

Many people become a little nervous when I mention adding hair extensions to their style but beleive me, most of the beautifil wedding hair pictures we see on Instagram, Pinterest and in the glossy magazines all have added extensions to give the hair oomph and luxuriousness.

Extensions are not necessarily used to add length.. They add volumn to fine hair, texture and are also a great way of adding in subtle tones.

I always recomend human hair extensions...  They blend well, look natural and also help create a structure when curling with your own hair which is also an added benefit for your style lasting the whole day.

I wont deny, human hair extensions are not cheap to buy and if you are only going to wear them for the one day, I offer a hire service for clip in hair extensions, Prices upon quotation.
