Love was most certainly not cancelled

Updated: Jan 19, 2021

On the 24th of September 2020, Dixie married her best friend Ash.

Due to covid restrictions their wedding wasn’t a traditional #Indianwedding as planned, however, their intimate ‘#microwedding’ with close friends and family Was just perfect!

When I first met Dixie at her pre-wedding trial I knew that this wedding was all about love, she couldn’t stop talking about her husband to be :)

Along with hairstyling, we spent about three hours discussing Dixies wedding theme, desired look and her family traditions in some detail and she couldn’t wait to show me her wedding outfit which was handmade and absolutely beautiful. Dixy chose a #halfuphalfdown #bridalhairstyle with loose curls with twisted braids Which suited her long, thick glossy hair perfectly.

🌸Wedding Day🌸

I arrived at dixon’s parents house around 8:30am to begin preparing her hair.

Her family were extremely welcoming in the morning, everyone was chilled and relaxed. Her lovely mum even jumped in the styling seat to have her hair styled. Although unplanned I always allow extra time throughout the morning preparations so this was perfectly fine and lovely to do as as I’ve said before, Mums deserve to be pampered too after all it’s their daughters special day!

At 11 o’clock Dixy was allowd access to her wedding venue

@dodmoor_house so we jumped into the car and drove on over (separate cars of course), to take advantage of the wonderful facilfacilities that the venue offers and to finish off dressing out Dixy’s #weddinghairstyle .

Dodmoor House #weddingvenue, it’s #beautiful, and perfect for intimate #microweddings and I can honestly say I felt completly #covidsafe Based in the heart of #Northamptonshire it’s surrounded by the gorgeous #countryside and farm land.

🔔 12:30 Dixy was ready to say I Do!

How beautiful did she look!?
